This is an adult swim session with a max of  24 swimmers, between 4 lanes. SWIMMERS MUST BE ABLE TO SWIM TWO HUNDRED METRES (200m)  CONTINUOUS FRONT CRAWL WITH HEAD IN WATER. ALL NEW SWIMMERS WILL BE ASSESSED BY THE COACH. The speed for the lanes will be set on the evening depending on the swimmers attending, but there will various speeds for each lane to accommodate members of all abilities. The sessions format are; warm up, drills, main set and cool down. The drills will be based on a technique part of front crawl. As a coached session, coaches instructions need to be followed by all swimmers. If any swimmer during the session is being disruptive and/or disrespectful towards the coach and other swimmers, they will be asked to leave the pool.  Please bring your pull buoy, kickboard, fins and paddles to every session if you have them Entrance to the pool will be via the Fire Exit  near bike racks and leave the pool via the Fire Exit at the back of the pool. If driving to the school, try to park in the car park from Albermarle road to avoid being locked in. Swimmers  can either arrive swim ready or use the changing room facilities.  Coaches will direct swimmers  to the poolside or changing rooms when they become available from the previous session, showers are available. Strength and conditioning sessions at Able2b gym in Norwich, a great venue with instructors who have a wealth of experience and knowledge. Please read the information below. Please complete the consent form, link below before attending your first session.

This will be a 45 minute strength and conditioning session, focussed towards the elements required to succeed as an athlete.  Sessions will be designed and instructed by Jon Thaxton and Rachael Hutchinson.  Sessions will vary each week with the common goal of improving the areas to succeed, keeping sessions fresh and interesting whilst working on specific goals using a variety of methods to achieve stability, core strength and prevent injury These will include, free weights, cardiovascular fitness, circuits and boxing. Able2b are able to offer sessions suitable for all abilities from beginners to high level performance and levels of fitness. Working together, ensuring each athlete is improving in their goals and working at the right level. The instructors will be able to identify individual issues that may lead to injury and suggestions for areas of improvement.  Instructors Rachael Hutchinson MB ChB MD FRCS (Tr.&Orth) Rachael has been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon for over 15 years. Rachael completed a post-graduate degree in gait analysis and assessment of function. Fellowships in America and Melbourne further added to Rachael's experience of assessing and improving function. Rachael's main areas of interest lie in optimising function whether at elite sport level or with a disability and feels strongly that all individuals can improve on the physical abilities if they have a good understanding of their body function in relation to their balance or range of motion over strength and control. Rachael is a medical classifier for British Para Swimming and the Lead Medical Classifier in the UK for British Par Table Tennis. Rachael is also a qualified Level 3 Fitness instructor and is currently completing the final stage of a Masters in Public Health Jon Thaxton  Experienced motivational and one of a kind a few ways in which Jon has been described. With many years of experience as a boxer trainer, fitness advisor and motivational speaker. Previously a professional boxer where he achieved British Lightweight Boxing titles. Jon's own professional career has allowed him to fully understand the elements needed to achieve good functional outcomes. Jon's ability to motivate and encourage even the most sceptical person is second to non. Mental agility, self belief and motivation were all critical in Jon's ability to succeed in the sport. One of Jon's most memorable fights was with Ricky Hatton. Following retirement from professional boxing Jon moved into personal training, motivational speaking and professional boxing training. Jon has worked with all abilities to improve their outcomes whether a professional sports person or someone with disability. NEW RUN TRACK SESSION  A great new opportunity for club members. Popular run track sessions are starting again for 2026,  we are aiming to continue the sessions through to March 2026. A track specific session to help improve speed/endurance, build technique, gain confidence, enjoy and meet/train with other club members. Structured track sessions which will include: Warm up, Technique/drills, dynamic stretches, efforts, cool down and stretches. Sessions are open to everyone as skills and experience will be accommodated for. These sessions will be coached by Stephanie and Karen on alternate weeks, both experienced and qualified British Triathlon Coaches.  If you have any questions please speak to either of us or email training@tri-anglia.co.uk The track will be shared with CONAC but it will be planned so that the sessions are kept separate. NEW INDOOR CYCLING SESSIONS We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for members this Autumn and Winter! We have secured exclusive use of the Cycling Studio at the UEA Sportspark, complete with an experienced instructor. If these sessions prove popular they will continue through to March 2026. ABOUT THE SESSIONS  These classes are a great way to maintain and improve your cycling fitness during the colder months. Each session will feature a variety of structured training sessions such as, anaerobic capacity, threshold, VO2 max work and FTP testing, across virtual terrains from steep mountain climbs to flat road sprints. All abilities are welcome, as every rider can work at their own pace and power level. THE INSTRUCTOR Sessions will be led by Ian Kermode, Fitness Manager at the Sportspark. Ian brings extensive experience to the studio with, 16 years in the fitness industry, 12 years coaching indoor cycling and advance qualifications in Indoor Cycling and Coach by Colour training. EQUIPMENT & SETUP The studio is equipped with 18 ICG6 bikes using Coach by Colour technology, more information can be found using this link. Coach By Color® - ICG® Ian will lead from the front using Myride on a virtual screen, with energising music to match the intensity of each session. The bikes are mountain bike cleats, but trainers are perfectly fine too. Please bring a towel and full water bottle as you will definitely need it! Kick of your Tuesday morning with a good training session, then make use of the showers and cafe facilities before heading off for your day feeling energised! NEW YEAR 2026 Continuing to run these sessions monthly through to March/April 2026, weather pending but we will always try to aim to run the sessions if we can. Details are here, but essentially all you have to do is sign up, decide on 3.5K (Jnr) 5K or 10K and time the start of your run to finish as close to 10:20am as possible. Feel free to bring cake. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate will be provided. These are sociable sessions and anyone of any pace can participate. Any questions please post on Facebook, email or speak to one of the coaches. Parents of Junior runners: Our volunteers are not responsible for any Juniors. Please bear in mind that you cannot see your junior all the way round the course. The route goes round the entire lake, is not marked all the way round and is open to members of the public and their dogs. Parents are responsible for their children at all times and must take whatever necessary precautions they deem appropriate to keep them safe. You may run or bike alongside your junior. This will be a 45 minute strength and conditioning session, focussed towards the elements required to succeed as an athlete.  Sessions will be designed and instructed by Jon Thaxton and Rachael Hutchinson.  Sessions will vary each week with the common goal of improving the areas to succeed, keeping sessions fresh and interesting whilst working on specific goals using a variety of methods to achieve stability, core strength and prevent injury These will include, free weights, cardiovascular fitness, circuits and boxing. Able2b are able to offer sessions suitable for all abilities from beginners to high level performance and levels of fitness. Working together, ensuring each athlete is improving in their goals and working at the right level. The instructors will be able to identify individual issues that may lead to injury and suggestions for areas of improvement.  Instructors Rachael Hutchinson MB ChB MD FRCS (Tr.&Orth) Rachael has been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon for over 15 years. Rachael completed a post-graduate degree in gait analysis and assessment of function. Fellowships in America and Melbourne further added to Rachael's experience of assessing and improving function. Rachael's main areas of interest lie in optimising function whether at elite sport level or with a disability and feels strongly that all individuals can improve on the physical abilities if they have a good understanding of their body function in relation to their balance or range of motion over strength and control. Rachael is a medical classifier for British Para Swimming and the Lead Medical Classifier in the UK for British Par Table Tennis. Rachael is also a qualified Level 3 Fitness instructor and is currently completing the final stage of a Masters in Public Health Jon Thaxton  Experienced motivational and one of a kind a few ways in which Jon has been described. With many years of experience as a boxer trainer, fitness advisor and motivational speaker. Previously a professional boxer where he achieved British Lightweight Boxing titles. Jon's own professional career has allowed him to fully understand the elements needed to achieve good functional outcomes. Jon's ability to motivate and encourage even the most sceptical person is second to non. Mental agility, self belief and motivation were all critical in Jon's ability to succeed in the sport. One of Jon's most memorable fights was with Ricky Hatton. Following retirement from professional boxing Jon moved into personal training, motivational speaking and professional boxing training. Jon has worked with all abilities to improve their outcomes whether a professional sports person or someone with disability. NEW INDOOR CYCLING SESSIONS We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for members this Autumn and Winter! We have secured exclusive use of the Cycling Studio at the UEA Sportspark, complete with an experienced instructor. If these sessions prove popular they will continue through to March 2026. ABOUT THE SESSIONS  These classes are a great way to maintain and improve your cycling fitness during the colder months. Each session will feature a variety of structured training sessions such as, anaerobic capacity, threshold, VO2 max work and FTP testing, across virtual terrains from steep mountain climbs to flat road sprints. All abilities are welcome, as every rider can work at their own pace and power level. THE INSTRUCTOR Sessions will be led by Ian Kermode, Fitness Manager at the Sportspark. With the opportunity of having extra pool lanes once a month at the Hewett pool. We would like to offer a coached session to adult club members. This session would suit those who would like to have some extra technique coaching and will be coached alongside our Youth Development Squad (YDS) with the max of  6 adult swimmers in one lane. In line with British Triathlon Safeguarding policy, with our under 18 YDS swimmers also using the pool, we ask adult swimmers to arrive swim ready or you will need to wait for the Squad to leave the changing rooms.  Coaches will direct swimmers to the poolside or changing rooms when they become available. The session format is; warm up, drills, main set and cool down, however this is open to change. The drills will be based on a technique part of front crawl. The speed for the lanes will be set on the evening depending on the swimmers attending, but there will various speeds for each lane to accommodate members of all abilities. The sessions format are; warm up, drills, main set and cool down. The drills will be based on a technique part of front crawl. As a coached session, coaches instructions need to be followed by all swimmers. If any swimmer during the session is being disruptive and/or disrespectful towards the coach and other swimmers, they will be asked to leave the pool.  Please bring your pull buoy, kickboard, fins and paddles to every session if you have them Entrance to the pool will be via the Fire Exit  near bike racks and leave the pool via the Fire Exit at the back of the pool. Strength and conditioning sessions at Able2b gym in Norwich, a great venue with instructors who have a wealth of experience and knowledge. Please read the information below. Please complete the consent form, link below before attending your first session.

This will be a 45 minute strength and conditioning session, focussed towards the elements required to succeed as an athlete.  Sessions will be designed and instructed by Jon Thaxton and Rachael Hutchinson.  Sessions will vary each week with the common goal of improving the areas to succeed, keeping sessions fresh and interesting whilst working on specific goals using a variety of methods to achieve stability, core strength and prevent injury These will include, free weights, cardiovascular fitness, circuits and boxing. Able2b are able to offer sessions suitable for all abilities from beginners to high level performance and levels of fitness. Working together, ensuring each athlete is improving in their goals and working at the right level. The instructors will be able to identify individual issues that may lead to injury and suggestions for areas of improvement.  Instructors Rachael Hutchinson MB ChB MD FRCS (Tr.&Orth) Rachael has been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon for over 15 years. Rachael completed a post-graduate degree in gait analysis and assessment of function. Fellowships in America and Melbourne further added to Rachael's experience of assessing and improving function. Rachael's main areas of interest lie in optimising function whether at elite sport level or with a disability and feels strongly that all individuals can improve on the physical abilities if they have a good understanding of their body function in relation to their balance or range of motion over strength and control. Rachael is a medical classifier for British Para Swimming and the Lead Medical Classifier in the UK for British Par Table Tennis. Rachael is also a qualified Level 3 Fitness instructor and is currently completing the final stage of a Masters in Public Health Jon Thaxton  Experienced motivational and one of a kind a few ways in which Jon has been described. With many years of experience as a boxer trainer, fitness advisor and motivational speaker. Previously a professional boxer where he achieved British Lightweight Boxing titles. Jon's own professional career has allowed him to fully understand the elements needed to achieve good functional outcomes. Jon's ability to motivate and encourage even the most sceptical person is second to non. Mental agility, self belief and motivation were all critical in Jon's ability to succeed in the sport. One of Jon's most memorable fights was with Ricky Hatton. Following retirement from professional boxing Jon moved into personal training, motivational speaking and professional boxing training. Jon has worked with all abilities to improve their outcomes whether a professional sports person or someone with disability. NEW INDOOR CYCLING SESSIONS We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for members this Autumn and Winter! We have secured exclusive use of the Cycling Studio at the UEA Sportspark, complete with an experienced instructor. If these sessions prove popular they will continue through to March 2026. ABOUT THE SESSIONS  These classes are a great way to maintain and improve your cycling fitness during the colder months. Each session will feature a variety of structured training sessions such as, anaerobic capacity, threshold, VO2 max work and FTP testing, across virtual terrains from steep mountain climbs to flat road sprints. All abilities are welcome, as every rider can work at their own pace and power level. THE INSTRUCTOR Sessions will be led by Ian Kermode, Fitness Manager at the Sportspark. Ian brings extensive experience to the studio with, 16 years in the fitness industry, 12 years coaching indoor cycling and advance qualifications in Indoor Cycling and Coach by Colour training. EQUIPMENT & SETUP The studio is equipped with 18 ICG6 bikes using Coach by Colour technology, more information can be found using this link. Coach By Color® - ICG® Ian will lead from the front using Myride on a virtual screen, with energising music to match the intensity of each session. The bikes are mountain bike cleats, but trainers are perfectly fine too. Please bring a towel and full water bottle as you will definitely need it! Kick of your Tuesday morning with a good training session, then make use of the showers and cafe facilities before heading off for your day feeling energised!
